Dance Hall, at Hollywood Beach, in the Channel Islands Bayou Acadiana
plays a taditional Zydeco from 1 pm to 4 pm. This is it, the monthly zydeco and Cajun party, a fun-packed, good time. Come and dance as Acadiana fires up its patented California style Zydeco music and plays all the songs from their new CD -- Woman of the Black Bayou, Guitar Lady, Lafayette Boogaloo, and, of course: I don‚t do No Rock Œn Roll! Click here to go to map October 8, Sunday from 2 to 3:15 p.m. The Ventura County Food and Wine Festival in the Oxnard Bayou (Channel Islands Harbor) in Ventura County. Take the 101 (Ventura Freeway) to Victoria. Go south (left) on Victoria to Channel Islands Blvd -- Make a right. Go a few blocks, over the channel bridge and immediately left onto Harbor Blvd, into Hollywood Beach. Look for the Festival on the left. Click here to go to map October 21 & 22, Saturday & Sunday from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Fais-do-do in the Pumpkin Patch at Faulkner Farms. Dance in the shade of the giant oak tree and celebrate the pumpkins with Acadiana. 14292 W. Telegraph Road in Santa Paula. Take 101 Freeway North to Hwy 126 and go East 1/4 mile to Briggs Road.
